I am a multi disciplinary artist and craftsman whose focus is in textile art and wood working. With my quilts, I look to motifs that have been around for centuries, adapting them to my aesthetic. Hand quilting the way my great-grandmother once did and using the wood working knowledge passed on to me by my father and grandfather, I create unique pieces that are made to last a life time, if not generations.

It’s important to me that all my work is beautifully crafted. I make functional keepsakes; objects that will be used every day and last a lifetime. I believe design should showcase the distinctive character and natural beauty of the material, weather it be wood or fabric. I make every piece by hand, from start to finish, in my home studio. I use native Oregon grown hardwoods and natural oils and waxes to finish each piece. I select OEKO-TEX standard cotton and linen produced in the U.S. I enjoy what I do and I hope you do too.
